Whereas…
…the ponds of the Mill Ridge Estates Condominiums have provided an aesthetic ambiance to the owners since their inception, and
…provide those same owners with an abundance of Nature in the form of its inherent wildlife, and
…those same ponds provide water for the nourishment to the lawns of our campus, and
…said owners have respected and responded with appropriate caution and diligence near said ponds, and
… said owners have agreed to an investment to improve the appearance and functionality of said ponds over the course of the next few years.
Be it hereby resolved…
… that according to the provisions of the By-Laws of the Mill Ridge Estates Condominium Association, Article 4, Section 5: Office of the President, it is hereby declared that the “regulation” understood by the membership relating to the (non)use of said ponds be suspended for the period of one day, the 27th of May, 2020 from 6 o’clock AM until 8 o’clock PM for the sole purpose of allowing only said owners to fish in said ponds.
All fishing must be done from the shores and banks of the ponds within the confines of the cement walkways surrounding them.
All persons electing to fish must be properly licensed to do so by the State of Wisconsin.
Any and all owners participating in fishing here do so with the inherent understanding and assumption of risk involved in this activity and accept their own responsibilities in so doing.
Each owner participating is also charged with cleaning up after themselves so that all fishing equipment, lines, hooks, lures, bait, other supplies, and catches are properly and safely stored. It is not recommended that any fish caught be eaten. Chemical applications to our ponds or other reasons may have tainted their meat.
SIGNED AND SEALED THIS 11th DAY OF MAY, 2020.
